Triangle

Your bed is like the Bermuda Triangle.
It is so easy to get lost
within the rolling tide
of the comforter
the licking waves
of your tongue
the seashell song
of your sleep-voice.

What a shame
that isn't the only triangle
to entangle this place.

I watch you
watch her
and wonder
what degree of separation
now spans between us
how I will ever
triangulate my way
out
without becoming just another
shipwreck
on these satin shores.
